Mayor Alison Warwick and I are excited to announce the winners of our Junior Mayor and Junior Deputy Mayor contest!
Junior Mayor Gabby Gomori submitted a video about recreation and how to make our pool better, and Junior Deputy Mayor Kirk Hallman submitted an essay on creating vibrant "downtowns" in our small towns with local businesses and creating places to meet new people in our towns.
We are looking forward to hosting Gabby and Kirk for a tour of the municipal facilities, as well as hosting them in our Thames Centre Council meetings as soon as COVID restrictions allow!
It is great to see our youth get involved and share their ideas on how to make Thames Centre better for everyone!
