Openings as of May 29th in Thames Centre

As per Premier Ford's announcement, Thames Centre skate parks, pickleball courts and tennis courts will OPEN AS OF *TUESDAY* May 19th. Trails and green spaces will continue to remain open, as well as the fishing platform at the Lions Park on Hamilton Road will be open. PLEASE NOTE: regulations under the provincial State of Emergency MUST be adhered to - ie. there can be NO gatherings of more than 5 people AND you must practice physical distancing.

Playgrounds, splash parks, community pool and sports fields for public use will continue to remain CLOSED until further direction from the province.

Baseball diamonds will be open for rental under VERY strict guidelines laid out by the province, and only for teams under a governing sports body. So, please don't be surprised if you see 5 people on a baseball diamond beginning next week. Any inquiries for rentals can be made through Thames Centre's Recreation department, however again noting, it is NOT for use for the general public and there are very strict guidelines on rentals. Please do not be upset if you are unable to rent them!

Thames Centre is following all rules and regulations laid out by the Province of Ontario and the Middlesex-London Health Unit. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to ask!
